Toshiba KT-R2 Professional Walkman

This KT-R2 has been serviced. The belt has been replaced after removing old rubber residue. Heads and capstan have been cleaned and demagnetised. The mechanism has been deassembled and moving parts lubricated as required.

Its very nice 80ties looking unit that sounds really good. The main use back then was more of a field recorder for reporters with its two built in microphones (stereo). It has also two headphone out jacks for two simultaneous listeners.
