The TASCAM 112R MkII is a professional 3 head cassette deck that is rack mountable. But if you prefer to use it in your stereo rack – the rack mount ears can easily be taken off by removing two screws.
Besides the obvious advantage of 3-heads, this deck also got pitch control and Dolby B & C noise reduction. The headroom extending Dolby HX-Pro is also on board. The counter can be switched to real time byt the press of a button. And there is even another killer feature on board – the 112R is one a the very very few auto-reverse 3-head decks ever produced. I do not know actually any other 3 head deck with auto-reverse besides the Nakamichi Dragon.
