The Panasonic DMR-XW450 is a high end DVD / HDD recorder. It retailed when it came out for over $1300. Its an excellent pick if you are planning to convert VHS tapes into DVD. Even storing them on the internal HDD and record them later to DVD is an option. With the included remote it is easy to navigate through contents that are stored on the HDD.
An added plus is the HDMI output, that makes it very easy to hook up this unit to modern TVs. It is also an excellent DVD player.
This unit has been serviced and comes with 6 months warranty.
