The NAD 6325 is an audiophile 2 head cassette deck. It comes with a “Playtrim” function to make old, dull sounding tapes sound great again. It also comes with the rare “CAR” (compressed audio recording) feature that levels out the tapes evenly for use in noisy environments (e.g. in a car helps making quite passages audible). The feature can be turned on and off from the front panel. On the noise reduction front the 6325 comes with Dolby B and also Dolby C.
To make the unit operate at original specs we carried out the below service:

- Replacement of capstan belt
- Treatment and cleaning of pinch roller
- Lubrication of capstan
- Demagnetisation of heads and capstan
- Speed calibration
