The Marantz MS100 is a very rary stereo system from Marantz. It was made in the 70ties and most of them were sold into the Japanese market. The system got a beautiful aluminium fascia that incorporates four HiFi compoents: Pre-Amplifier, Power Amplifier, Tuner and Cassette Deck. The amplifier in the unit has two additional inputs for a record player and a CD player or Bluetooth bridge.
The whole unit has been serviced, all potentionmeters have been deoxidised, the tape deck has received the below service:
- Replacement of capstan belt
- Repalcement of FFWD/RWD belt
- Demagnetisation of heads and capstan
- Cleaning of heads and capstan
- Treatment of pinch roller
- Speed calibration
- Full function test
A great sounding unit with a really good tape and amplifier. It comes with the sweet Marantz sound and luxury feel to the entire unit. With metal switched and backlit dials and meters.
The amplifier puts out 30 watt – which is more than sufficient to entertain even a large living room.
