What a beautiful gem out of the late 70ties. These old Akai decks just sound so good and are a pleasure to use and look at. This unit is in showroom condition. No oxidisation on knobs or piano keys and a spotless fascia and wooden case.
Looking at the heads and capstan, this deck must have extremely low hours on it and excelles with a wow and flutter below 0.06%!
This deck has received the below service:
- Replacement of Capstan Belt
- Replacement of Counter Belt
- Cleaning and treatment of original pinch roller
