The SONY TC-K444es is out of the famouse ‘ES Line’. Only highest end components are getting the ‘es’ badge. The TC-K444es is an amazing sounding cassette deck with everything a tape enthusiast can wish for. Amazing soundig laser amorphous heads, dual capstan drive, adjustable bias and a 3-head setup for perfect, crisp sounding recordings. With its extremely low wow and flutter of 0.06% according to tis official specs it is challenging the competition of Nakamichi and the likes. But this unit measured actually at 0.048%! Judging by heads and pinch roller, this unit must have seen very little use by its former owner.
