Beautiful top-loader with cover from the 70 ties that comes with some amazing features. The RT-480X is a very good sound cassette plater/recoder with adjustable line output and headphone connector. Sharp integrated the Dolby B noise reduction system which can be activated by flippung a switch on the panel. Supported are low noise Type II tapes as well as Type I normal position tapes. Despite coming from the 70ties, the RT-480X alrady go a title search system. Once flipped on, fast forward will bring you to the next title on the tape.
Sold for $279 AUD in 1974 this was an absolutely high end deck. According to RBAs inflation calculator that would translate to $2800 in todays money.
