Marantz CD-42 CD Player

The CD-42 is a well built and really good sounding CD player from the early 90ties. The unit comes with the original CDM-4/19 Philips CD transport that moves the lens in a half circular motion. The nice and big VFD display provides all the information you might be looking for and overall it is a joy to use this well built unit.

This CD-42 has been serviced, the gear that drives the CD drawer mechanism as well as the belt has been replaced. Lens of the laser has been cleaned.
